Take a look at the new Gallery items on display on the right hand side of this page.
Holidays Will Soon Be Here
I'd like to start by thanking everyone who came out to see us at Old Home Foliage Days last weekend. It always nice to have visitors during a long cold weekend. Anyone who did not get out to see us we have one more event before Christmas. We will be part of the JCAC Home Tour event(December 6) and will be located in the basement of Messiah Lutheran Church in Mifflintown. Anyone who would like to browse our inventory but cannot make it out that weekend, give us a call or email and we'll work somehting out. One last note: Any custom order must be placed by Thanksgiving Thursday for us to be able to guarantee delivery by Christmas.

Fall Update
The summer was a busy one both on and off the wheel. We are preparing for our next show: Old Home Foliage Days, October 18-19 at the Port Royal Fair Grounds. Come out see the new items. As always we have a wide selection of pottery and slumped bottles. We will also be displaying in a new way with this show.
We are now making custom crocks for Country Nature Craft Store. If you want a crock of ours come and order one. Country Nature is also planning to be at Foliage Days.
In December the Juniata Cultural Arts Committee will once again be hosting the Home Tour with a craft show/market located in the basement of Messiah Lutheran Church in Mifflintown. Our work will be on display here as well.

The wheel is complete and has already been tested. It is cumbersome and tricky to take apart and move, however, it now gives us the oppertunity to demonstrate our process at festivals where we have onoly been able to describe what we do.
For now, a few bugs need to be worked out before it can be an everyday peice of equipment. Like anything new design, it needs to be fine tuned to its ideal set up. It is very user friendly even for those with shorter legs!
Look what Delilah made.....

~ Glass ~
Beginning Spring/Summer 2008 there will be new addition to the studio. Melissa is once again going to be creating stained glass panels. As they are created we will be offering them at the various craft fairs and shows we go to. Also check the homepage periodically as they will be viewable there, on the gallery page.

~ Mifflin - Juniata Arts Fest ~
We have been accepted as an artist vendor for the 2008 Mifflin - Juniata Arts Festival. This event will be May 17-18, 2008 in Mifflin County at Rec Park. We will be on hand both days to answer questions. Also we plan to have a new kickwheel at the event to demonstrate just how it is we do what we do. Come out and see our work or just enjoy the good food and other entertainment. http://www.mifflinjuniataartsfest.com/
